His sire is 9x winning color champ male STONE, one of the most eye catching alpacas our farm has ever seen. Stone passed his very symmetrical pattern and long staple length to Spock for sure.
Spock's mom Izzabel, is certainly no slouch either - being a full Peruvian, A Kuska top foundation female, carrying lines from All time Winning males Accoyo Yupanqi & Accoyo Pluro offering super dense crimp and big boned frame.
We had a recent visitor ask what kind of paca was he since his fleece didn't look like either one. Huacaya with Sheen was my answer! He has incredible crimpy shiney bundles. No mistaking this fleece with superior crimp into his neck and top knot fleece.
Spock is proving that our plans to make rare colored alpacas with high quality fleece are definitely succeeding. Our goal has always been rare colors that hold the fleece (crimp and density) of the best whites in the country + fantastic pedigrees featuring the best Accoyos ever, which until now, have been used to primarily to make whites.
